I am a Teach for America 2016 DC Corp alumnus and stewardship leader. I was an Algebra II lead teacher, taught over 400 9th-12th graders, and hope to teach many more. I currently serve with the NYC Department of Education as the senior specialist liaison to all Manhattan Education Councils, and the Citywide Council on English Language Learners. During evenings and weekends, I lead the education team at FOREFRONT, a start-up non-profit, which is launching an elementary school in Andhra Pradesh, India.
Prior to teaching, I worked in Sales and Trading at J.P. Morgan for two years. I was a third year analyst in cross-asset derivatives structuring, and also tutored incoming analysts in the Sales and Trading training program. Even on Wall Street, I loved teaching.
I have a Master of Science in Education, summa cum laude from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, magna cum laude from Georgetown University.
